Connect

Connect holds the Provalliance group’s network together: more than 3,000 salons, several brands, several countries. The platform is the point every piece of information passes through, between head office, the salons and the public-facing sites.

Several hundred people work in it daily. They find there the collection visuals, the editorial calendar and the national campaigns the group sends out to the network, and they keep up to date, on their own, whatever their salon publishes on the brand sites: opening hours, prices, photos, job openings, booking links.

An API makes part of that data available to the group’s providers: it is what feeds the salon pages on the public-facing sites. Information is entered once, in a single place, and turns up everywhere else.

In service for more than fifteen years, the platform has never stopped evolving. I took it over in 2021; a rebuild is under way in 2026.
